Program naming

A Google Ph.G signifies the highest level of expertise in Google hardware and Android products. The program was created to inspire the sharing of Google knowledge among high-potential sales associates at Google stores and retail partners like Verizon and Best Buy. The naming strategy I developed began with prototyping the in-store roles of these “ambassadors.”

These experience definitions revealed valuable conceptual spaces for the candidate names, and ultimately led to my name, “Ph.G,” conferring a doctorate in Googleosity—a simple and memorable designation of retail smarts that was executed in multiple training, development and promotional forms.
